Summary[edit | edit source]

June 10, 2016 Update: By popular request, an HTC Vive Native / No LEAP Motion required version has been created. Custom tailored to take advantage of the HTC Vive controllers and walk around experience like never before. Fluidly interact with the Jellies, Gummy Rings and Jelly Spheres by touching them with the controllers and pick up one or more of the elements by simply pulling the trigger on one of the controllers when near. Also, a "window" feature has been added, which turns on the camera on the front of the HTC Vive to allow you to peek into the real world while in the experience.

May 16, 2016 Major Update: Oculus CV1 and HTC Vive LEAP Motion versions are now available. Added features: You can now grab and move jellyfish and jelly spheres using a 2 handed grip when in proximity to the elements.

Rainbow Jellies is an augmented reality softbody experience that allows you to fluidly interact with jellyfish using your hands or Vive Controllers. The LEAP Motion versions allow for fullscreen video of your surroundings, and the HTC Vive version allows for you to open a window to the real world. Jellyfish will change colors and make sounds in 3D as you interact with your hands and controllers and the softbodies will react naturally to your touches and interactions.
